8-Cake Labs is a small team of creative individuals based in Edinburgh, Scotland. We have a variety of skills, from coding in multiple languages to art and music.

Our first project, Unshorten.it, was launched a short while ago to address the new influx of shortened URLs from sites like Twitter and Facebook, with the intention of making them safer to use. We also have several other projects on the go at the moment, including a cross-platform mobile game and a music video.

We started as a team back at the Grind House Cafe and still are regular customers due to their amazing milkshakes; if you're in the area we'd recommend you drop by!
